Talking to His Home Team Romanian Nanga parbat Expedition Leader, Torok,said ,they Reached the summit of Nanga Parbat (8126m) today at 17:00 GMT,the team consist of Torok,Marius, Aurel and Toe, the TEam climbed via Shell route ,the team despite the Nanga Parbat Massacre didn’t give up their expedition and continued the expedition, the team yesterday had fixed their Camp at 7500m ,from where they reached the summit today, its First summit of Nanga Parbat this season and Perhaps the only summit of the mountain this year, the team according to their Home team are descending to camp IV, while they hope to reach their pitched tent ,otherwise will biavoc above camp IV . the weather is fine and no wind.
note: we at KCN congratulate the Romanian team for their successful summit of Nanga Parbat, we appreciate their great effort even having the massive catastrophe at the other side of the Nanga Parbat ,but you truly showed the bravery and courage to defeat the hardship of the mountain as well as the extremism, your efforts for the mountain climbing and encouraging climbing in that range is truly remarkable!

in the Nanga Parbat. etcetera. I am glad that no-one was hurt badly, and
I look forward to reading about the August adventures. What brave souls
the mountain climbers are! I live in Vermont near the Presidential Range
and just finished reading “Not Without Peril” by Nicholas Howe, Great
true stories, often sad, but amazing stories here in the USA mountains.
