Media reports from India suggest that two bodies have been spotted on Everest; one near South Summit and another at Geneva Spur. Indian climbers at BC assume these are corpses of Paresh Chandra Nath and Goutam Ghosh. Operations has been initiated to retrieve them along with remains of Subhas Paul.

Four climbers Sunita Hazra, Subhas Paul, Paresh Chandra Nath and Goutam Ghosh went missing, after leaving for summit from C4 on Friday to Saturday night. It’s reported that Sunita and Subhas were recovered 24hrs later by a Search and Rescue team.

Subhas, however, died near Yellow Band on descent. Sunita has been evacuated to Kathmandu and is being treated for injuries. Chances of Paresh and Goutam still being alive up there are, unfortunately, nonexistent.
