Newsdesk) According to ExWeb community, Azim Ghaychisaz From Iran and Spaniard Sechu Lopez have reached the summit of Annapurna. The information has so far been confirmed from the Hungarian team who also add Czech Radek Jaros and a Sherpa.
The climbers are currently descending, more information is expected.
Carlos Soria’s team aborted the second summit push on Annapurna because of “enormous amount of snow” between camp 2 and 3, bringing the risk of avalanche “to the extreme”. The team is leaving the mountain.
A rough translation of the Hungarian report indicates that amputee Eross Zsolts reached camp 4 and a Swiss climber w/out oxygen turned back.
